I also did my research before purchasing this treadmill. The 7 series was rated one the best buys on CR, but was more on the higher end pricewise. I just used my Bowflex Series 3 Treadmillfor the 1st time yesterday & am very pleased. It is sturdy, smooth, quiet, easy to use, fold up & looks great on top of it all! I just have to say that by far, this treadmill is one of the best ones out there.

This is a good quality tredmill. I have been using is for about a month and have had not had any problems. It is quiet for a tredmill. I do wish it had a fan.

I am very pleased with the ease of assembly and quality of this treadmill. It is everything that I had hoped it would be. ie: easy to use, quiet yet challangeing.

1. Eagle only sent one guy for the delivery. He couldn't move the huge box inside the house by himself. I had to help him a bit. (I'm 30 yr female).
2. The assembling instruction is not hard to follow. But I would suggest 2 people do this. It took me a little bit over 1 hour to install.
3. It looks very sturdy and heavy. The folding mechanism is easy, but I've yet to figure out how to move it by myself: it's just too heavy for me to tilt.
4. I ran on it for 15 minutes as a test. A good buy with less than 1K price.

I looked in Consumer Reports for the best treadmill for my dollar and deceided to buy this model. I absolutly love it! It was very well priced through Amazon.com and I thought the shipping was very fast.(About two weeks which is not much considering the weight). It is very heavy and well constructed. It does need to be put together, but I did it with my twelve year old daughter in about an hour with no difficulty. Everything is so well laid out for you, and the instructions were great! The treadmill is comparable to fitness center models! Very easy to operate. The folding is easy and it comes down very gently. I am very pleased with the Bowflex series 3 treadmill in every aspect and I thank Amazon for making it available for such a good price and free shipping to boot!
